On FundGiving, you can help your favorite cause by making a donation, with or without writing a check!
With a little creativity, you can raise unlimited amounts of money by giving things, time, talents -- just list them on the FundGiving Marketplace and specify your favorite cause. Once a shopper purchases your item, FundGiving collects the money from the buyer and makes a charitable donation with it, on your behalf. The best part? FundGiving lets you know whether your monetary donation is tax deductible, and even gives you a letter to prove it.
Here's an example:
Blake purchases the TV, paying the $50 via credit card through FundGiving.com.
Sally and Blake communicate to arrange delivery of the TV through the FundGiving message center.
FundGiving sends the money to United Way, and sends Sally and Blake a donation letter for tax purposes.
